Stephen Greene

Stephen was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada in 1972 and raised on a farm with his younger brother Paul. In 1998, he moved to America to live, work and paint in Mesa, Arizona and has two daughters.

Stephen’s colorful landscapes are painted in traditional and contemporary styles and pay homage to his homeland of Alberta, where nature is abundant and breathtaking. His distinctive personal style emanates joy and peace and expresses the vibrant colors and atmosphere of the North American landscape. Picturesque mountain ranges, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, the rising and setting sun, cacti and trees are all brought to life in his bold compositions with contrasting but harmonious color.

As a teenager, Stephen was influenced by the late Bob Ross and would often watch his grandmother paint. He was fascinated by the smell of scattered paint in her art studio. From an early age, he believed that anything perceived by the mind could be expressed on canvas. While in his 20’s, Stephen began exploring metal as an artistic medium and began creating furniture, candle holders, wine racks, bed frames, sculptures and other metal art.

Stephen has recently started creating Instagram Live sessions with his brother Paul Greene (actor/musician/life coach). You can listen to Paul playing music, while Stephen fills a blank canvas with life!
